Mexico Mission Trip

June 22nd to June 30th, 2007

This summer, students and adults from Singing Hills Christian Church will fly to San Diego, California and then travel by vans and trucks to a small town outside Tijuana, Mexico for a week of ministering to the people of Mexico. We are participating with churches from throughout the Pacific Northwest organized under Go, Inc., a non-profit missions company founded by Bruce Jones of Gladstone Christian Church. Go, Inc.’s mission is to serve the world with youth-led, short-term missions trips. The organization’s vision is to give teens opportunity to experience missions work, to allow adults to work along with and under the leadership of teens in a missions setting. This is accomplished in conjunction with Amor Ministries located in San Diego, CA.

We expect these organizations to send around 400 people to Mexico for this missions trip. During the week, we will build approximately 20 homes and 2 churches for the people there. We will also participate in feeding the hungry there, conducting vision clinics and health screenings, and holding Vacation Bible Schools for the kids. This will be a week of the hardest work we've ever done, and we're sure to enjoy it more than anything!
